Throwback Thursday was a new meme idea I thought of while listening to Throwback Thursday on a local country music station. Instead of songs I thought I'd scour the Goodreads classics list for a good book classic to promote and add to my TBR list on Thursdays. (My TBR classics will probably become an extra shelf on Goodreads) If you want to try this on your own blog link back and let me know and I'll be sure to follow. First pick is The Anne Series by L.M. Montgomery. I've read the first (and most popular) book Anne of Green Gables. Although it seemed to take longer than normal to read I really enjoyed the book and appreciated Anne's antics and watching her grow. In order to complete the series I would want to read the book again.

Have you read any of the Anne books? When it comes to the "classics" do you treat them reverently and exclude them from reviews or do you publicly review the "classics" as well?
I read the first one. I'd like to read more some day.
